SBI Simply Click Application Tips

Should I Apply?

If you wish to have your first ever SBI credit card I would definitely recommend you SBI simply click. It is very good in all aspects, and offer great value. You can also waive your annual fee, If you spend one lakh in a Year.

This Card Comes in two variants Visa platinum and master platinum(I got Master platinum). Both come with pre-enabled international transaction feature with markup fees of 3.5%. which means if you have to make a transaction of $100 then you will be charged with a 3.5% markup fee i.e. you have to pay $103.5 for your $100 payment.

This card also comes with the SimplyWave Contactless Technology payment method for the payment of up to Rs.2000.

Are You Eligible?

I have gone through the whole SBI card website, But I couldn’t find Anything about this card eligibility. But If you don’t want your application to be rejected, you must check these points before applying:-

    • Age should be 21 years
    • Have a stable income(Salary or Self Employed)
    • Have other bank credit card

SBI cards rejection rate is very high. So apply at your own risk if you do not fulfill the above criteria. If you have some other banks credit card, you can also apply on that card basis. I have applied through my HDFC credit card, And I got it very easily.

Application Status

If you have already applied, you can check your application status in two ways:-

Reconsideration

If your application is denied, I recommend calling for an inquiry about why your application has been rejected. Before applying next time fix these issues, and call again. It’s surprising how often denials can be changed to approvals.
